Tiwa Savage says she pays IT experts to help erase her leaked sex video three years ago.
Savage, socially-known as Queen of Afrobeat, reveals this in an interview with Angie Martins of Power 105.1 in New York, adding that the sex tape was recorded with a person she was dating.
The afrobeat icon who recently made her debut in Nollywood industry with the incoming Water and Garri movie to be released by Prime Video, says her major reason for paying handsomely is to make sure her son does not get to see the video when he becomes an adult.
“My biggest fear about my sex tape leaking was that my son might one day see it. But I got in touch with an IT expert who hacked the video from the internet and everyone’s mobile device,” Tiwa Savage says.
She also boasted that the video cannot be seen anywhere on the internet. In her words, “right now you can’t find it anywhere. Even if you had it stored in your phone, it’s gone,” she reveals.

After her interview goes live, the sex tape surfaces again, leaving many to argue probably Savage’s IT experts did not live up to the task.
Some netizens also argued that Savage knows that the tape can never be erased but she wants to be on the trend table again, probably for the sake of the incoming Water and Garri movie where she stars.
This analogy is not far-fetched as some celebrities in the past have done weird things just to make sure they promote themselves, movies or songs. So, Savage might actually be doing the same.
Meanwhile, some fans who reacted to the Savage interview advised that Savage should learn from what the American musician Rihanna had said.
Rihanna had said she regretted showing off her private parts at a young age, adding that now that she is a mother, she really regrets being indecent.
“I know this sounds hypocritical but there are a lot of things which I did when I was much younger that I regret now and I won’t advise young girls to do. I can’t believe I used to have my n:!pples out, I think about it and I’m like “I really did that??” .. Right now as an older woman with kids, I seriously regret being so !ndecent…,” Rihanna says.
