Fear has both negative and positive parts to itself. But many times humans usually allow the negative part of it to thrive, plaguing their minds and shattering their hearts, destroying their belief systems, luring them to make-believe realities of vulnerability. Yet, in a real sense, it is not.
There is no such thing as being fearless, instead, what is constant is the ability to squash, submerge and conquer fear whenever it arrives. Fear is constant and it is a normal phenomenon in human life. At times, fear can be a driving force for growth but many have believed it is a deleterious sign of a failed man or woman.
When confronted with new things; surprises, fascinating experiences, nostalgia or family travails; anything new to our cells, fear plead to engulf hearts—seeking a place to hide, sneaking down our heart of hearts, and trying to convince, the same individual that once conquered the world, to believing not having the ability to lift a tiny stone, speak up in that seminar, cannot recite that poem, cannot read aloud without a script or slurring, or cannot hit that weightless ball. Fear. It always dashes our hopes, leaving things to get worse; sending everything to take a blink of eternal snooze—shame—then dies off. Gone!
This has always been the rudiments of about 80% of an average man-on-the-street life; leading nearly everyone to believe they’re ever vulnerable to fear and nothing can be done about it. But this is one of the fallacious statements, ever-lived and this article sees it as unacceptable.
Though fear is constant, it is not part of the weaknesses of humans. It can only be, when it is permitted. As it is famously said, “no one can make anyone inferior without their consent.” This means that whatever manifests in an individual life is only what such an individual permits. If one does not permit fear, it will not stay even when it keeps staring at one’s face. Many times, fear can be that electrifying, yet dangerous feeling, having the power to caution one where necessary; helping one to discern in the feat of decision making yet tries to emotionally grip the heart with an overprotective and overpowering aura of anxiety, especially when it is not controlled. It comes with both positivity and negativity. But many times humans usually allow the negative part of it to thrive, plaguing their minds and shattering their hearts, destroying their belief systems, luring them to make-believe realities of vulnerability. Yet, in a real sense, it is not.
Fear is just an emotion and humans are meant to have an excellent control of all their emotions, so fear must be autonomously controlled. As much as it is inseparable in human life, it must not be let go to drive the course of one’s life. For whenever fear is actively and properly controlled, an exceptional feat is often attainable.
Meanwhile, forgetting those involuntary actions of humans that occur at will, every emotion must be put in check alongside with the conquering spirit of fear. This is to ensure that one is not swung wastefully, hither and thither the catastrophic bridge of fear whenever it kicks. Focus and a state of stillness are all what are needed, when fear comes.
