They are competing in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Ivory Coast, where they will face South Africa.

“Despite dominating in Africa, I think we are not really well appreciated when it comes to Grammys,” stated the musician.
Davido, who has been nominated for three Grammys, expressed his congrats to Tyla on her achievement of X and encouraged her to “keep soaring” despite the intense competition that exists between South Africa and Nigeria.
Trevor Noah, a comedian, was representing South Africa at the prestigious award presentation, which he hosted for the fourth time. Noah was also in charge of the ceremony.
