Nicki Minaj to Headline Wireless festival with 21 Savage and Doja Cat

Headliners for the Wireless festival have been confirmed: Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, J Hus, and Doja Cat.

From July 12 to 14, Finsbury Park in London will host the three-day festival once again.

Rapper 21 Savage, who was born in London, has released his third album, American Dream. He expresses his happiness at “being back home and headlining Wireless for the very first time.”

Additional performers announced for the lineup are Tyla, Asake, Ice Spice, and Future.

Pink Friday 2’s release has Nicki Minaj on a high note. She will perform live on Friday night.

Festival goers can expect a “mind-blowing weekend full of show-stopping moments” when Paint the Town Red singer Doja Cat closes the event on Sunday night.

Digga D, Uncle Waffles, Gunna, Sean Paul, and Rema are among the other confirmed artists; more are expected to be revealed the following week.

Nicki declared that the event “will be iconic” when she made the announcement on X.

Following the breakup between herself and Megan Thee Stallion, the Barbie World singer had a busy weekend on her timeline.

After it seemed like Nicki was mentioned in Megan’s new song Hiss, she responded with the release of her own diss track, Big Foot.

Despite the feud, fans remain divided about Nicki; her followers, known as Barbz, are excited to see their idol, even though Wireless management have dubbed her headline slot “pink Friday”.

In an exclusive interview with Nadia Jae on 1Xtra Breakfast, the Wireless lineup was disclosed.

“It is the biggest celebration of contemporary black music in the UK,” Nadia stated. “1Xtra cannot wait to be there again – we’re excited.”

Wireless and Haringey Council inked a five-year agreement last year, allowing Wireless to hold its summer events at Finsbury Park till at least 2027.

Every year, about 50,000 lovers of hip-hop, R&B, and rap attend the festival.

On Wednesday, tickets for the weekend, which cost £258.25, will go on sale. Two-day tickets will start at £175.50, and day tickets at £94.60.
