1. Get Your Beauty Sleep
A restful night’s sleep is the best thing you can do for your skin, especially if you’re stressed out and exhausted because these things can quickly manifest on our faces. Aim for 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night, try to go to bed at the same time every night, and make sure your bedroom is a calm, quiet space. Put the curved side of a cool spoon—you can keep one in the refrigerator—on any bags or dark areas if you wake up looking a little sleepy.
2. Cleanse Your Face
Cleanse both in the morning and at night, being careful around your eyes, and using a texture that works for your skin type (oil, lotion, micellar water, etc.). Any makeup residue, dirt, and other impurities that have gathered during the day or night should be gently wiped off. Remember that cleaning is a non-negotiable.
3. Scrub Off The Dead Skin
Scrubbing works against environmental factors such as pollution, dust, smoking, and more to balance out skin tone and improve the face. In addition to improving circulation, a scrub will leave your skin radiant. Additionally, it will improve the absorption of any therapies you apply to your epidermis. Apply a clay face mask to thoroughly cleanse and purify your skin for a beautiful finish.
4. Hydrate Your Skin
Next, use a moisturizer that is appropriate for your skin type, such as oily, dry, combination, mature, and so on. Make sure to moisturize your clean, dry skin once a day. Whether it’s a cream, mask, or serum, your moisturizer will support the preservation of your skin’s equilibrium. Therefore, moisturize both in the morning and at night to prevent having a dull complexion. Steer clear of thick lotions that clog your pores and draw dust. Opt instead for a lightweight product that can offer you clearer, brighter skin by penetrating up to 10 layers deep into your skin, like the new L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Crystal Micro-Essence. It leaves your skin feeling incredibly hydrated and moisturized while retaining moisture.
5. Use Blur Creams
Our skin looks beautiful and flawless after using blur creams to smooth out wrinkles and dilated pores. Put one on before BB cream for a picture-perfect complexion. Your BB cream, on the other hand, will moisturize and even out your skin tone.
6. Use Makeup Powders
These incredibly fine powders are velvety to the touch, reduce glare, and accentuate our face features. They work on all skin tones because they are translucent. They leave our complexions radiant and bright. Apply your powder as a final step following the application of your BB cream.
7. Do Not Touch Your Face
Hands still carry bacteria that can be brought to your face when you touch it, even if you wash them frequently. Therefore, to reduce the possibility of spots and blemishes appearing, try not to touch your face.
8. Watch Out What You Eat
Stock your plate with beta-carotene-rich foods to brighten your complexion. In fact, certain fruits and vegetables can offer us a subtle hint of sunburn. Steer clear of the saturated fats found in fast food, prepared meals, and cured meats. Additionally, to moisturize your skin from the inside out, remember to drink at least 1.5 liters of water each day. Reduce alcohol consumption as it dehydrates and dulls the skin; instead, drink water and herbal or fruit teas.
9. Nourish Your Skin with Facial Steams
Using the right essential oils can provide a variety of health benefits for at-home facial steams. Begin by washing and massaging your face. Fill a basin with boiling water. For maximum impact, add a few drops of essential oils. To steam your face, lean over the bowl and drape a towel over your head and shoulders. After you’re finished, spritz some thermal water on your face. It’s ideal to use a face mask now that your pores are open. Additionally, remember to use a moisturizer to seal the deal.
10. Use Sunscreen
The damaging sun’s rays can lead to a number of skin-related issues, such as black patches, poor skin, and early aging. Apply sunscreen to shield your skin from the sun’s harmful UV radiation. It is best to use a lightweight, non-pore-clogging sunscreen for the Indian climate. The recently launched L’Oréal Paris UV Perfect Matte & Fresh is ideal for summer use in India. It contains kaolin clay, which absorbs perspiration and leaves you with a matte, fresh finish. It is suitable for all skin types, even those with oily skin, and has been tested for maximum humidity.
When you use cosmetics to seem fascinating, there is no magic involved. The true test of skill is when you can look equally good without makeup. If you take care of your health and skin and maintain a healthy lifestyle, achieving a beautiful complexion and glowing skin naturally won’t be tough.
